Whether your dog requires a lot of exercise, or prefers a slower pace, we customize their experience based on the dog's energy level to ensure a happy pet.

When your dog needs a place to stay overnight, you want to make sure they feel completely comfortable – both mentally and physically.

To make sure they are as comfortable and as happy as possible, we’ll discuss your dog’s individual needs before boarding. For example, if your dog requires special feedings or a specific diet, don’t worry – we’re happy to take care of that at no extra cost. Our goal is to reduce stress on your dog and provide a family-like atmosphere, spoiling your fur baby the way you prefer.

Drop-off and pick-up times are by appointment only.

In-home Dog Boarding

Enrichment Daycare (Limited)

Personalized care in an at-home setting. Boarders will be treated as one of our family, getting personal bedding, cuddles and plenty of playtime. Plus interactive toys!

Enrichment Daycare (Limited)

Daycare is when your dog socializes with other dogs, relaxes on our couches, and spends the days with us. Your dog is able to benefit from enrichment type daycare where we work on our manners, might do puzzle toys and benefits from one-on-one time.

What do I need to do before boarding my dog?

All dogs must be non-aggressive. Dog(s) will be evaluated on their temperament with other dogs and children to stay. If your pet does not get along well with others, drop-in visits might be more appropriate.

Must provide up to date vaccination records for DLHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus), Bordatella, and Rabies. Flea and tick prevention is highly recommended. Contact Dana, danasdogs@gmail.com to setup a meet and greet today!

We are located in Salem, Iowa however we have dogs that come from Mt. Pleasant, Fairfield, New London, and Burlington so their dog gets the benefits of an in-home, family environment.

To help prevent tummy aches, we require pet owners to bring the food their dog is used to eating. Bring enough food for the entire stay and a few extra helpings just in case.

If food runs out during their stay a $3 charge/meal will be issued to use our food

Any medication your pup will require during their stay, and a leash for walking.

We require proof of vaccinations prior to boarding and payment at check-out or before for all services.

Any toys/treats/bedding is optional to bring

Each dog is different. Your dog’s daily activities can be tailored to best suit their energy level and desired socialization.
